With the gorgeous summer weather Toronto has been getting the past couple weeks, Boston Pizza has decided to expand its offerings with a new summer menu! This menu includes two exciting burgers and a couple refreshing quenchers for the patio weather days.
I went to visit the Boston Pizza nearest to my location to try their new summer menu items. We decided to start off by trying all three Handcrafted Quenchers: Black Raspberry, Cucumber & Lime, and Mango & Ginger. These are virgin sparkling beverages made with only natural flavours (hence the floating fresh fruits at the top). But of course, I had to make it into a “cocktail”! Lol, I actually ordered a couple flavoured vodka shots to be added to the Quenchers (yasss).
In addition to the Quenchers, we also decided to order a pitcher of the Watermelon Mojito. I absolutely love watermelons and I love mojitos, so this was a definite win for me. I would recommend giving this new summer addition a try!
The two new burgers added on Boston Pizza's burger line-up are the Most-Valuable Burger (The MVB) and a Dessert Burger. BP is particularly proud of the simple yet quality ingredients in The MVB, which includes a beef patty made with only 100% Canadian Beef salt and pepper, topped with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and red onions on a brioche bun. Look at those tasty ingredients!! You can also opt to add in bacon too if you want, like me. You can choose between a side of fries or a salad. Someone once told me, "no good story ever started with a salad", so order the fries ;)
As for the Dessert Burger, think an ice cream burger. In-between two warm, sweet buns, you'll find a slab of decadent chocolate ganache topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream drizzled with caramel sauce - heaven on a plate. How AMAZING does it look - scroll down & then scroll back up. And to answer your question that I'm sure you're all asking: yes, it's okay if you don't want to share. Tell your friends to get their own!!! Haha, jk say it in a nicer tone so you don't lose any friends over this dessert burger.
