Miku Restaurant

Miku is known for their aburi oshi sushi, which is pressed sushi that is seared with a blowtorch, as shown in the photo above. It was truly a process, and when paired with all the other ingredients and techniques used by the sushi chef, it is a delicious little rectangle.

Wooffles & Cream

I finally got to try the very popular HK waffles + ice cream combo!

I love ice cream and I love the HK-style waffles, so I definitely had to try it.

East Thirty-Six

Tapas, tapas, tapas! I love ordering a bunch of things off the menu and being able to try a variety of dishes at one spot. I saw good reviews online about East Thirty-Six, so I decided to give it a try.

Carisma

Pasta is something that I will always love to eat.

I always have cravings at lunch for pasta but it's so hard to find a spot in the food court that makes you pasta (except for Saute Rose)....Which is why I love going to Italian restaurants for dinner!

Carisma is an authentic Italian spot on King Street, just west of Yonge, and it is definitely not one to just walk by.

Mr. Holmes Bakeshop ✌

When asking other foodies in the SF area where I should visit when I was in town, a majority of them mentioned Mr. Holmes. After all, holmes is where the heart is...right?

I'm so thankful for the abundance of good food this year, and even more thankful for all the lovely people I met through this foodie journey!
I can't wait to ring in the new year and see what this upcoming year will bring.
