» Napa Valley Vineyard Hopping

Who's down for some wine tasting??
- - -
Driving along a dirt road in Napa Valley,
with wineries and vineyards one after another... is exaaaactly how it's done.
It's also a great way to find hidden gems!

1st Stop: V. Sattui
This was literally just along the way to our destination.
We decided to just stop randomly, and look how gorgeous it is!
After frolicking around for a bit, we decided to go inside.
Amaaaazing cheese selection!

My dad and I tasting some wine :)

Best way to drink wine is to go from light to dark wines, then end it off with a dessert wine.

Here is a list of the wine that I tasted:
Whites
• Chardonnay, Sattui - honeydew & almond aromas
• Sauvignon Blanc, Sattui - clear and dry grapefruit taste
• Dry Riesling, Napa Valley (92 points)
Reds
• Syrah, Napa Valley - hints of violet, citrus, and white pepper
• Cabernet Sauvignon, Preston Vineyard, Rutherford (95 points)
• Cabernet Sauvignon, Morisoli Vineyard (94 points)
Dessert
• Muscat - light, fresh and fruity with sweet melon muskiness (93 points)
• Moscato Frizzante - delicate and lightly sparkling wine

I had such a fun time tasting the wine!

After drinking, we got quite hungry so we decided to do it French style!
We bought a baguette, brie cheese, and prosciutto, and just ate outside picnic style :)
