I found Pearl Diver when searching up good seafood near my office.
Pearl Diver used to be Starfish, before they renovated and redesigned the place.
Rustic but classic interior with wooden tables and floors and chalkboard pillars.
Of course as they serve oysters, they have an oyster bar where they shuck them in front of you.
We both ordered the fish and chips, but we didn't know that it was such huge portions! Each order came with a large bed of fries and 2 haddock fillets!
And of course we had to get a dozen oysters. Can't go to a seafood place without ordering oysters!
Unfortunately, I don't remember which ones we ordered but they were really fresh.
I have to say that the food was pretty good, and you pay for what you got. I saw a lot of people splurge on one of their famous specialties, the whole lobster. It looked really good, and I am assuming it's worth it since many tables ordered it. The service at Pearl Diver was interesting and not professional. We had trouble communicating with the servers regarding our order, and it was just a hot mess. Other than that, the food was good and I'd come back for the oysters!
